DANCE RECITAL:

Your child’s participation in our annual dance recital is mandatory. Each family receives one digital link of the recital. Students will be properly notified of the date and time of when tickets will be available.

ABSENCES:

If your child is absent from classes held at the studio, full tuition is still required. Please note that “Perfect Attendance” trophies are awarded at the end of the dance year.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE:

Should be within 5-10 minutes of the beginning of class. There is no one to supervise students when they are not in class. Older students may not hang out at the studio when they are not in class.

LEMOINE ACADEMY OF DANCE will not escort any dancers to and from the parking lot. Students should be accompanied by a parent or guardian when arriving and departing the studio. Parents, for your child’s safety, please do not ask your child to meet you outside.

TARDINESS:

Arriving late for class is disruptive to the class and it is unfair to the student. All students must arrive on time.

HAIR AND ATTIRE:

For all dance classes, hair must be tightly secured, and off of the neck. All students are required to wear appropriate attire in their classes. No student will be allowed to take class without being appropriately dressed. Please see our classes page for the required dress attire for each class.

Note: Cover-ups should be worn to and from the studio.

LOST AND FOUND:

Any items found at the studio are placed in the lost and found bin at the studio. Lemoine Academy of Dance is not responsible for any items, which are left, lost or stolen at or from  the studio. Please return to the studio immediately to retrieve a forgotten item. Items in Lost and Found that are not picked up by the end of each month will be donated to the Salvation Army. Label all shoes and clothing items.

CLASS OBSERVATION & ETIQUETTE:

We are fortunate, however, to have observation windows for all studios and we encourage our parents to observe as often as possible. For the safety and privacy of all of our students, videotaping is prohibited during class time. Our goal is to provide a safe and positive environment for our students and their families. Any unbecoming behavior or rude comments made in the waiting area or on the premises is strictly prohibited. ANY DEVIATION FROM THIS POLICY WILL BE CAUSE TO WITHDRAW YOUR CHILD FROM OUR ROLL.

CLASS PLACEMENT:

Students’ class placement will be determined according to the age, ability, and maturity of the child. Final decision is based on the instructor.
